Stonehaven Border Collies is dedicated to breeding healthy, sound, versatile Border Collies that meet the official breed standard. Our focus is on producing dogs with excellent health, stable temperaments, correct structure, and the intelligence and trainability the breed is renowned for.
Our Breeding Program Focuses On:
• Comprehensive health testing, including full Border Collie DNA profiling
• Official hip and elbow scoring of all breeding dogs
• Independent assessment of structure, movement, and temperament through conformation showing
• Active in conformation, obedience, and agility
• Correct breed type, sound construction, and excellent temperaments
• Raising puppies in a family environment with Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS), early socialisation, enrichment, and gentle daily handling
• Careful selection of breeding stock to preserve and continually improve the breed
Stonehaven is proud to have close ties with Angela Sime of Fairenvy Collies, benefiting from her decades of knowledge, experience, and dedication to the Border Collie breed. This valued mentorship and collaboration helps guide our breeding decisions and supports our commitment to producing quality puppies for future generations.
